Njuguna (Lady K) is the visionary Founder and Director of Ngemi Cia UK, a Homecoming Festival in the UK that celebrates culture and heritage through music, food and community. With over five years of hands-on community service, Lady K has become a respected leader known for her passion, warmth, and unwavering commitment to bringing people together.

Driven by a deep belief in the power of unity, Lady K is passionate about community engagement, inclusive leadership, and creating safe, supportive spaces where individuals and families can thrive. Her work centers on uplifting voices, strengthening networks, and inspiring collaboration across generations.

Through Ngemi Cia UK, Lady K continues to champion initiatives that foster support, celebrate our heritage, preserve our culture , and meaningful connection — turning vision into action and community into family.

Lukas Kamau is the Co-Founder/Director of Ngemi Cia UK and a dedicated community leader with a deep heart for service within the Kenyan-UK diaspora. Passionate about unity, empowerment, and cultural connection, Lukas founded one of the largest Kenyan community groups in the United Kingdom, creating a vibrant platform that supports social, economic, and cultural development among Kenyans abroad.

He has also been instrumental in the formation of the Kenyan Community Chair Council in UK & Europe, strengthening collaboration and representation of Kenyan communities across Europe. Through his leadership, Lukas continues to champion collective growth, advocacy, and meaningful engagement for Kenyans in the diaspora.

Kennedy, from Torah Security, oversees event security, pre-event site assessments and our security risk portfolio, helping ensure safe and smooth event operations.

DVJ Duez oversees stage management and coordination, ensuring performances, artist transitions and the event programme run smoothly and professionally.

Supports Ngemi Cia UK with compliance, helping ensure our activities and events are delivered professionally and in line with required standards.

Supports event logistics and marketing, helping with the smooth coordination, promotion and delivery of Ngemi Cia UK events.
